Commerical transactions realized between HOFA Ltd. Brno (Sellers) and law or physical person (Buyers) are governed by respective paragraphs of Obchodní zákoník (Commercial Law) No.513/1991 Sb. in topical and valid version.


The order may be placed by e-mail, fax, letter or by phone and should include:

  • name a invoicing address of buyers
  • ID Number and VAT Number
  • description of goods
  • quantity, number of units
  • place of delivery
  • date of order

Delivery of order means concluding purchase contract in accordance with the Commercial Law.

Delivery of goods

The ordered goods may be collected personally at the address of HOFA Ltd. Brno in working days from 8 a.m. till 15.30 p.m. Orders placed till 11 a.m. will be shipped the same day by the Czech Post (parcel into hand). Should not the ordered goods be in stock, delivery time will be ageed. Freight charges are invoiced according to actual price tariffs of the Czech Post. No freight is charged for orders exceeding CZK 10.000,-

Buyers must take over the ordered goods and check visually as soon as possible whether the goods correspond to the order. Any discrepancies are to be claimed within 10 days. In case the parcel is not collected and must be sent for the second time, freight charges are for the account of Buyers.


Prices are stated in valid price list which will be sent to you on request. For long term and big volume customers special prices may be agreed.


New customers must pay two first deliveries cash or in advance, for further orders payment 14 days net. For long term customers payment within 14 days, exceptionally up to 30 days.

In case the invoiced amount is overdue, penalty 0,5 % of the amount will be charged for each day untill the overdue amount is fully paid. We reserve the right to deliver no goods to Buyers untill all overdue amounts are settled or in case of urgent need to deliver against cash payment.


The Sellers warrant all sold products for the period of 6 months to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. Buyers have the right to exchange the claimed goods for the perfect one and if Sellers have no goods available the Buyers are to be credited for the payment of purchase price within 7 days after return of the claimed goods.

Extra costs due to exchange of the claimed goods are for the account of the Sellers.

Return of goods

If the Buyers decide to return delivered goods (uncorretly ordered or not suitable for their need), they may do so for the account of their own within 7 days after the date of delivery either personally at the address of the Sellers or through a carrier. Return of goods is possible on condition that products are in perfect condition and in original and undamaged package.

If these conditions are not fulfilled the Sellers must not agree with return of goods and may send them back to the Buyers.

Liability of Sellers

Liability of the Sellers for consequences concerning use of the delivered products is limited up to the purchase price of products. In no event will the Sellers be liable to the Buyers for any direct or indirect incidental or consequential loss, damage or injury.
